This past week we have handed over seven protected springs and two wells (one in a school) to rural communities. Two more to go next week!

First handover of a completed spring
Masinde is about 10 km from Kakamega. They have been using the clean water since December and have not experienced any waterborne diseases since then. The water is slow during the dry season but will improve during the rains. The community has signed the contract to keep the site in good order and to never restrict access.
