Karibu sana!
This site will replace PatandRodKenya that operated last year. Since we have formed a Society for all the community development that we do, we are using the name to continue our regular messages.
We chose a Swahili name: tembo means 'elephant'. Elephants live harmoniously together in groups and look after each other. The name also stands for : Teaching, Empowering, Mentoring, Building Opportunity.
Our Mission Statement : to partner with individuals and communities in Western Kenya to support entrepreneurial activities, education and health through training programmes, microfinance schemes, scholarships, water and sanitation projects.
We welcome members to the Society and will be posting more details over the next few weeks.
